Telecom Sales Executive

Location: Manchester M7
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm
Contractual Status: Full time, permanent
Probationary Period: 6 months

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to join our expanding team at Alfonica.

Alfonica is an Ofcom registered telecoms company, aiming to always be at the forefront of the industry. Agreements are in place with all the major UK carriers and networks across a full range of products and services. Alfonica have worked hard to build our products and services portfolio to ensure we can cater to our clients’ individual and business telecoms requirements.

Offering a competitive basic salary with an uncapped OTE based on the company’s KPI scheme. We are looking for dynamic candidate who is looking to take the next step up in their career. This would suit a candidate with previous Sales /Account Management, ideally with experience in Telecoms but would not be a necessity as full, ongoing training will be provided.

Main responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate customer contact information across all internal systems
  • Facilitate the on boarding of new customers
  • Identify and develop new customer referrals to feed into our sales channels
  • Create up and cross sell opportunities
  • Meet agreed customer service quality standards and SLAs

Required skills and abilities
  • 2 years previous experience in a proactive sales environment
  • Support experience would be beneficial
  • Self-starter with a real can-do approach
  • Positive outlook with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven working experience ideally within the telecommunications industry
  • Technical knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to multi‐task and work under pressure
  • A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective organisational and communication skills
  • Strong telephone manner

Telecoms Provisioning & Support Advisor

Location: Manchester M7
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm
Contractual Status: Full time, permanent

Alfonica is an Ofcom registered expanding telecoms company, aiming to always be at the forefront of the industry. Alfonica has trade agreements with all the major UK networks and carriers across a full range of products and services. At Alfonica we have worked hard to build our products and services portfolio to ensure we are able to cater to our clients’ individual and business telecoms requirements. This role is based at Alfonica’s Manchester Office and is a desk-based role.

As a member of our Telecoms provisioning & Support Team, you will be responsible for dealing with fault diagnosis and support for our wide range of products and services including lines, connectivity, WLR, CPS and Hosted Telephony (VoIP). The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standard and provide excellent customer service and support. Provisioning is also a key part of this role.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who find opportunities to upsell and cross sell additional products and service when liaising with customers.

Main responsibilities
  • Fault diagnosis and efficient management to resolution
  • Establish customer requirements and assess their needs through to implementation
  • Escalating queries and concerns where necessary
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Provisioning products and services
  • Upsell and cross sell additions products and services

Required skills and abilities
  • Proven working experience within the telecommunications industry in a support role
  • Technical knowledge and understanding. Understanding of Asterisk based phone system will be advantageous
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective organisational and communication skills
  • Strong telephone manner
  • Hold all work-related information and materials confidential
  • Previous experience within an administration role would be advantageous
Experience of support in this sector is paramount however additional training where necessary will be provided.
